Kerrigan Procter was appointed Interim Head of LGIM America in January 2024. In this capacity, Kerrigan provides ongoing strategic and regulatory oversight for the business, while ensuring that business operations continue uninterrupted as the appointment of a permanent CEO is finalized.

Kerrigan has held a number of leadership roles across Legal & General (L&G) since joining in 2006. Immediately prior to LGIMA, Kerrigan was President of Asia-Pacific for L&G and responsible for developing L&G’s businesses in that region from July 2021. In addition, Kerrigan was previously CEO of L&G’s alternative asset business (2018 – 2021), L&G Capital and CEO of L&G’s pensions business, Legal & General Retirement (2013 – 2017). In 2006, Kerrigan set up LGIM’s Solutions business (2006 – 2012), providing liability-driven investment solutions for pensions and insurance companies, as well as multi-asset funds for defined contribution pension schemes. Before joining L&G, Kerrigan was a derivative trader and began his career as a Pensions Consultant.

Kerrigan is a Fellow of the UK’s Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has a PhD in Number Theory from King’s College London.
