LGP appoints Rob Codling to its Managed Fund.

Legal & General Property (LGP) announces that it has appointed Rob Codling as a Senior Asset Manager within its £1.4 billion Managed Fund, further enhancing its in-house asset management team.

Rob will report directly to Fund Manager, Mark Russell, and joins the three-strong asset management team that looks after a portfolio of 68 direct property assets.  Rob joins from Jones Lang LaSalle (previously King Sturge) where he has spent the last eight years, working initially in the Bristol market and latterly as asset manager and transactions surveyor to LGP’s Industrial Property Investment Fund.

Launched in June 1971, the Managed Fund is an open-ended fund available to occupational pension schemes that invests in UK freehold and leasehold property, recognising that superior stock selection is key to out-performance. The Fund is low-medium risk with the capability to invest in indirect, unlisted vehicles and All Property Total Return swap contracts, and has a focus on income enhancement and added value creation.
